What Our Customers Are Saying

Don’t just take it from us, let our customers do the talking!

“I’m sitting on my lounge and I’m relaxed and pain free! Thank you so much! I had a shower when I got home and it’s the first time I haven’t had to rush to get out because my hip was hurting in I don’t remember how long! I can’t believe it – I was pretty skeptical but willing to try just about anything.  I’m so glad I gave it/you a go”

Mel K

“Hi Alice, just wanted to say thanks for the appointment on Thur. I haven’t felt this chilled since I was 14.

Can’t wait for my next appointment!”

Gemma A

“Hi Alice, I can’t thank you enough, I feel so much better this morning.  You are so good at what you do, I’m so thankful you have chosen this profession and put your all into it to help people. You are changing people’s lives literally. “

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you help me?

Yes I can.  Holistic kinesiology takes into account the mind, body and spirit, and uses the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine to get to the root of what you are trying to resolve.  This has an advantage over conventional medicine or Western medicine, as this holistic alternative therapy takes into account the whole of you.  You often find that many seemingly unrelated symptoms are driven by the same root cause in Chinese Medicine, and when this is addressed, many symptoms may start to resolve.  Naturally, you need to participate in your own recovery, and home reinforcement and behaviour/pattern changes will be necessary to support yourself at this time.

How does it work?

Holistic kinesiology uses the body’s muscles to uncover the underlying stress patterns (that can be subconscious) that lead to the issues that you are facing, physical or emotional.  After uncovering the stress patterns, this natural therapy draws from principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Naturopathy, Homeopathy, Aromatherapy, Chiropractor, Osteopath and others to restore your wellbeing.  Kinesiology is safe, effective and generally pain-free.

I've been told to stick to evidence-based medicine

Holistic kinesiology is evidence-based medicine.  Traditional Chinese Medicine has been around for thousands of years.  Homeopathy is the most widely used medicine in the world.  There are thousands of published, peer-reviewed studies published on PubMed and Cochrane that you can access right now.  It is harder to get funding for complementary medicine research, but the research is there.  I like to work in conjunction with Western medicine or conventional medicine practitioners to provide a holistic approach to your health, and I love that holistic kinesiology combines the best principles of Eastern wisdom with Western medical advances.

Can I claim on my health fund?

Yes, if your health fund allows kinesiology as part of its extras, and your level of cover allows this.  I will include on your tax invoice my provider number, and I will send you via email this invoice for you to claim.  Unfortunately, I am unable to access HICAPS at this point in time.  Most major health funds have kinesiology in their cover.

How many sessions are required?

This is very much the “how long is a ball of string” question.  It really depends on what you are looking to resolve, how long you have had your symptoms for, how significant your area of concern is, and if you are looking to resolve layers of concerns, or just one.  it also depends on whether you take on recommendations, and do home reinforcement work in between the sessions.  A general rule of thumb is perhaps 6-8 sessions as a possible guideline, but some people take just a few sessions, and others are more extended.  We can talk about your goals and requirements in your consultation and go from there to achieve your wellbeing goals.
